About the Role
The Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous waste removal services while ensuring the vehicle complies with the Company’s safety standards and all applicable regulations. Daily vehicle condition reports are completed to address any defects promptly. Key responsibilities include thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, operating the truck and compactor along designated routes, interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers, tagging unsatisfactory containers, monitoring and cleaning waste spills, and maintaining the vehicle to minimize downtime. The driver also completes required route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports while adhering to productivity standards and safety policies, and participates in the Company’s ReSOP program. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues • Operate the collection truck and compactor safely along assigned routes • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and staff to ensure timely service • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures • Monitor and clean waste spills while adhering to safety standards • Maintain vehicle readiness by cleaning components and minimizing downtime • Complete route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports accurately • Meet departmental productivity standards and follow all safety policies • Participate actively in the Company’s ReSOP safety program

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement and demonstrate strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through abilities.
