About the Role

In this role you will perform analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of Johnson Controls BAS products while documenting daily activities, maintaining laboratory equipment, and providing technical training when required. You will keep supervisors informed of status, concerns, or problems at all times. You will work directly with engineering teams on complex product issues, construct assemblies, test circuits and fixtures, and ensure all equipment meets product standards. Responsibilities also include assembling new production parts, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and coordinating with outside vendors for parts and corrective actions. • Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and repair Johnson Controls BAS products. • Provide technical support to field users and internal service teams. • Collaborate with engineering teams on complex product issues and improvements. • Construct assemblies, test circuits, and maintain test fixtures. • Document daily work activities and deliver technical training as needed. • Maintain laboratory equipment in safe, proper working condition. • Communicate status, concerns, and problems to supervisors and lead technicians. • Assemble new production parts, including panel assemblies. • Work with vendors to obtain parts, information, and implement corrective actions.

What You Bring

Candidates need a minimum of three years’ technical experience or an Associate’s Degree, strong oral and written communication skills, soldering ability, and the capacity to lift 40 lbs. You must be able to work with minimal supervision, use hardware, software, and manufacturing tools proficiently, and meet the physical demands of the job. • Minimum 3 years technical experience or an Associate’s Degree required. • Strong oral, written, and listening communication skills. • Ability to solder and use hardware, software, and manufacturing tools proficiently. • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
