About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager and Project Executive, the incumbent will oversee and direct pre‑construction, engineering, and field installation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. This includes full responsibility for procurement, budgeting, quality, safety, scheduling, coordination, installation, commissioning, and project close‑out. The position also involves supervising Turner MEP staff and managing relationships with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owners. • Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner’s representatives throughout project phases. • Lead, supervise, and develop MEP staff, including conducting performance appraisals. • Oversee daily activities of Engineer‑MEP, Superintendent‑MEP, and subordinate personnel. • Manage MEP procurement, budgets, quality, safety, engineering coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close‑out processes. • Identify design features that command cost premiums and recommend comparable or improved alternatives. • Occasionally climb stairs, ladders, and use construction hoists; lift or move up to 50 lb as needed. • Perform tasks involving hands, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and hearing.

What You Bring
The position is located in Cleveland, Ohio (ZIP 44115) within the Cleveland Main division of Turner. It is a regular, experienced, salaried exempt role in the Construction job family, classified as an experienced project position. The role requires a minimum of ten years of relevant experience. • Apply comprehensive knowledge of contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable codes. • Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of progressive experience in design, cost, sequencing, logistics, and field installation of mechanical and electrical systems (or equivalent). • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills and ability to present technical material. • Preferred LEED accreditation; proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with project management and scheduling software. • Exhibit leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to implement leading‑edge technologies. • Require visual abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
