NS4R Software Developer
Develop and maintain NS4R SATCOM software on DISA MilCloud, supporting JTEO.

About the Role
Key duties include maintaining the NS4R database and security upgrades, developing and implementing tool enhancements, providing user help‑desk support, managing user accounts, performing database and source‑code backups, and controlling configuration while troubleshooting and addressing security requirements. The role also involves assisting Level 1 points of contact with data entry validation, managing the MilCloud Virtual Data Center resources, installing operating system and database patches, and training Government and FFRDC personnel on the NS4R tool and database. The position supports the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort, which provides leading‑edge systems engineering for the Air Force’s Space and Missiles System Center, integrating complex space and ground communications systems. • Maintain and upgrade the NS4R database and security patches. • Develop and implement enhancements to the NS4R tool. • Provide Level 1 user help‑desk support and manage user accounts. • Perform regular backups of the NS4R database and source code. • Manage MilCloud Virtual Data Center resources (memory, storage, CPUs). • Install operating system and database server patches while ensuring configuration control. • Train Government and FFRDC personnel on NS4R usage and maintenance. • Collaborate with DISA to resolve hosting issues promptly.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include an active Secret clearance, a STEM bachelor’s degree, strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and at least two years of experience with Angular, Java, microservices, Docker, DISA Stratus, and VMWare; desired candidates have five or more years of experience and INCOSE CSEP/ESEP certification. • Hold an active Secret clearance and a STEM bachelor’s degree. • Possess at least 2 years of experience with Angular, Java, microservices, Docker, DISA Stratus, and VMWare. • Desired: 5+ years of relevant experience and INCOSE CSEP/ESEP certification.
