AM Janitorial Cleaner

About the Role

The Cleaner is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area, working a rotating schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. • Clean and maintain buildings, facilities, and interior surfaces. • Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage. • Report minor or major repair needs to the manager. • Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, supervisors, and managers. • Adhere to safety, security, compliance, and quality standards. • Dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment. • Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks. • Clean interior glass, windows, partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners. • Wash and replace blinds. • Gather and empty trash. • Perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping walkways, raking leaves, cutting grass, and removing snow. • Clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.

What You Bring

This position is ideal for individuals entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience or education, and ABM actively encourages veterans and candidates with military experience (MOS 92S, 92Y, LS, DC) to apply. • Must be 18 years or older; on‑the‑job training provided; no diploma required. • Customer service experience preferred. • One year of similar cleaning work experience preferred.
