About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor at Hall Street Flats, a Cushman & Wakefield property, provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering quality move‑in experiences, resident satisfaction, and timely service to residents. Key responsibilities include preparing market‑ready apartments, responding promptly to resident service requests, maintaining grounds, pools, common areas, and dog parks, handling on‑call emergencies, reporting budget‑impacting maintenance issues, scheduling preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with housing laws and company policies. • Prepare market‑ready apartments (painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, housekeeping). • Complete resident service requests promptly. • Perform maintenance tasks: plumbing, pool, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, life‑safety issues. • Maintain cleanliness and safety of grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks. • Execute on‑call emergency procedures as required. • Report maintenance issues affecting budget (life safety, vacant repairs, property damages, common area needs). • Schedule and record preventative maintenance activities. • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, and policies. • Attend required training programs from Cushman & Wakefield and local jurisdictions. • Provide superior customer service and represent the company professionally. • Work any shift Sunday‑Saturday to meet business needs. • Use cleaning agents and equipment safely. • Travel between properties in varying weather conditions. • Stand, walk, and climb stairs, ladders, or step stools for extended periods. • Lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 100 lb regularly.

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to work any shift from Sunday to Saturday, safe use of cleaning agents and equipment, basic arithmetic and graph interpretation skills, a valid driver’s license, and certifications such as EPA 608 Type II and CPO where applicable. Candidates must hold a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical certification and possess at least three years of related maintenance experience. The position operates in an office environment with standard equipment, involves regular travel between properties in varying weather, and demands physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 100 lb, with travel comprising up to 10 % of work time. • Perform basic math calculations and interpret bar graphs. • Maintain a valid driver’s license; obtain CPO certification if required by city or state. • Hold EPA 608 Type II certification (minimum). • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical education. • Have 3+ years of related maintenance experience.
