About the Role
• Perform and check structural design and analysis computations. • Prepare construction plans, contract documents, details, and specifications for building and vertical structures. • Conduct structural calculations per Building Code and local amendments. • Review shop drawings and contractor requests. • Conduct on‑site structural observations for existing and new structures. • Write clear summary and detailed reports. • Provide technical guidance to entry‑level engineers. • Perform finite element modeling; specialize in steel and concrete design. • Apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles, building codes, materials, and construction techniques. • Participate in 401(k) plan with tax‑deferred savings.

The group supports heavy construction projects requiring unique problem solving and design of specialized equipment, as well as traditional design services for buildings, transit stations, industrial facilities, tunnels, water/wastewater facilities, and dam structures. Engineers leverage building information modeling to collaborate throughout design and construction. The role offers an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Sr. Structural Engineer who thrives in a collaborative, customer‑focused environment and delivers exceptional quality on diverse projects including buildings, transit stations, industrial facilities, and water/wastewater structures. • Hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis and a Professional Engineer license. • Possess at least 10 years of experience in structural design for buildings, water/wastewater, or transit projects. • Proficient in RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural System, RAM Concept, STAAD, Mathcad, TEDDS, and Revit. • Access internal and external training and professional organization support.
