About the Role

What You Bring

Kimley-Horn’s Kansas City, Missouri office is hiring a Civil Engineer with at least four years of experience to join its Land Development team. This role is on-site and not eligible for remote work. Candidates must have four plus years of relevant engineering design experience and a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license, or be able to obtain one within 12 months. Required skills include site civil design, permitting, and proficiency with hydrology and storm-drainage modeling software, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D, as well as experience in task management, client coordination, and quality oversight. The role also demands ability to produce construction plan sets and documentation covering utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence, and permitting.
