About the Role

We are seeking a Teamcenter PLM Solution Architect who will report to the PLM Enterprise Architect. In this role you will lead functional and technical design and configuration of Teamcenter applications, supporting the IET business segment’s PLM transformation. Your responsibilities include leading the architecture and implementation of Teamcenter PLM functionalities such as variants, BOM, document management, classification, and change management, and integrating CAD, ERP, MES, and CRM systems. You will assess business processes, define use cases and user stories, and create To‑Be process maps and data models. You will also author functional specifications, technical designs, and guide development and testing teams, while collaborating with onsite and offshore resources. • Lead architecture and implementation of Teamcenter PLM functionalities (variants, BOM, document management, classification, change management) and CAD/ERP/MES/CRM integrations. • Assess and define business processes, use cases, user stories, and develop To‑Be process maps, data models, and application configurations. • Author functional specifications, technical designs, and production frameworks while guiding development and testing resources. • Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure concurrent global product development and project delivery. • Design and configure Teamcenter using BMIDE, Java, microservices, cloud, and federated architectures, balancing customization vs. configuration.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or Engineering and has at least seven years of experience designing, architecting, and deploying enterprise‑level Teamcenter solutions. Required skills include strong knowledge of AWS, BMIDE, ITK or portal customization, Java, J2EE, Oracle, Linux, SOA, and experience with large end‑to‑end implementations. Familiarity with foundational Teamcenter modules, integrations via Siemens AIG or other middleware, and exposure to Mendix, MS‑Office, and product knowledge across multiple Teamcenter roadmaps is also expected. • Possess 7+ years of enterprise‑level Teamcenter design, architecture, and deployment experience, including large end‑to‑end implementations. • Demonstrate expertise in AWS, BMIDE, ITK/portal customization, Java, J2EE, Oracle, Linux/Unix, SOA, messaging, LDAP, and SiteMinder. • Experience with foundational Teamcenter modules (Document Management, Change Management, BOM Management, Workflow, Classification, Security) and integrations via Siemens AIG or similar middleware. • Knowledge of Mendix application development and proficiency with MS‑Office tools. • Willingness to travel globally as required.
