About the Role
Based in Leeds, AL, the Cost Accountant reports directly to the Cost Manager and joins the Finance team. The role is responsible for a variety of costing and inventory activities, including maintaining standard costs, executing month‑end closing, and delivering reporting and internal controls. • Execute monthly close and generate financial reports using reporting systems. • Manage Bill of Materials and product routings within SAP. • Perform monthly variance analysis for purchase price, freight, material usage, production orders, labor, and overhead. • Provide analysis and support for internal and external audits. • Review and update standard product costs for labor, material, and overhead. • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories, reconciling discrepancies. • Assist with department spending analysis, facility budgets, and forecasts. • Respond to ad‑hoc financial information requests.

What You Bring
• Apply 1–3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment using SAP. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. • Demonstrate strong analytical, planning, and communication skills. • Possess advanced computer proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
