About the Role

In this role you will support warehouse operations by handling materials, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and ensuring that production schedules are met. You will work closely with the Production Supervisor and team members to resolve equipment or inventory issues and to uphold quality standards. • Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to the Production Supervisor or appropriate resource. • Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized. • Notify supervisors of equipment, operations, material, inventory, or documentation issues. • Receive, stock, pick, issue, and deliver materials within performance guidelines to satisfy internal and external customers. • Pull orders, clean assigned rows, and ensure orders are moved to the shipping dock or parcel packing area. • Remove packed items from conveyors, stack them on skids, and set up workstations for operators. • Operate forklift trucks, PITs, reach trucks, power pallet jacks, and order pickers; perform safety checks and report issues. • Maintain equipment and maintain a supply of necessary materials to complete operations. • Meet established performance standards to keep production schedules on track and ensure products meet nVent quality specifications. • Participate in rotational assignments and continuous‑improvement activities as a team member.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED; preferably 3 years of warehouse experience. • Proficient with RF scanners, related software, and Windows Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and label‑printing software. • Knowledge of material flow processes and safety policies; ability to promote compliance. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and oral/written communication skills. • Adaptable to rapidly changing business circumstances and high‑stress environments. • Ability to operate material‑handling equipment (forklift, sit‑down counter‑balance, reach truck, power pallet jack, order picker). • Physical capability to bend, squat, reach overhead, climb stairs/ladders and lift up to 50 lb.
