About the Role
The primary objective is to generate profitable new‑account revenue by guiding Construction Services Sales Representatives and executing the area’s sales and marketing plan. The manager will identify, qualify, and rank prospects, then assign selling responsibility to the appropriate account managers and specialists to meet revenue targets. • Lead a team of 10 Construction Services Sales Representatives covering GA, NC, and SC. • Generate profitable new account revenue and execute the area’s sales and marketing plan. • Identify, qualify, rank prospects and assign selling responsibilities to account managers and specialists. • Maintain corporate sales strategy, ensure high customer satisfaction, and resolve unique prospect issues. • Coach, train, and mentor sales team members to meet call activity, pipeline growth, and revenue targets. • Oversee use and training of WM sales tools such as Prospect Management, Proposal Program, and Pricing Tools. • Provide industry expertise and support pricing and service strategies. • Interview, select, and onboard qualified sales staff.

What You Bring
We are seeking a seasoned sales manager to lead a field‑based team of outside sales representatives who sell service‑based solutions to business customers, preferably within the construction sector. The role supports the South Atlantic market—Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina—and may be based anywhere in those states. Travel throughout the territory is expected, and the manager will oversee a ten‑person team. The position blends field and office work, requiring standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Physical demands are typical for a sales role, with regular travel and occasional on‑site visits to customers. • Required: Bachelor’s in Sales/Marketing or equivalent, or high school diploma with 4 years relevant experience. • Minimum 5 years B2B sales experience, including 3 years of direct B2B sales and cold calling. • Proven phone‑based prospecting that secures customer appointments.
