The role also partners with clients and external stakeholders to uncover engineering opportunities and support business development efforts. • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, structural, and sustainability disciplines. • Develop and execute strategic engineering initiatives aligned with JLL’s business objectives and client needs. • Oversee complex engineering assessments, due‑diligence activities, and technical consulting for high‑value real‑estate transactions. • Establish engineering standards, best practices, and quality‑assurance protocols across diverse property types and markets. • Drive business development by supporting client presentations, proposal creation, and technical solution design. • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to maintain competitive advantage. • Maintain compliance with building codes, industry standards, and sustainability regulations.

Candidates must hold a PE‑licensed engineering degree and possess 12‑15 years of progressive experience, including at least five years in senior leadership within commercial real‑estate engineering. A strong track record in managing multidisciplinary teams, delivering large‑scale technical projects, and driving client‑focused business development is essential. Preferred attributes include advanced degrees, relevant certifications, and hands‑on experience with emerging technologies such as IoT and smart building systems. • PE‑licensed engineering degree with 12‑15 years progressive experience. • Minimum five years of senior leadership experience in commercial real‑estate engineering. • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage large technical projects. • Experience in business development, P&L oversight, and client relationship management. • Deep knowledge of building codes, standards, and multi‑jurisdictional compliance. • Strong communication and presentation skills for translating technical concepts. • Understanding of sustainability initiatives, IoT, and emerging technologies. • Master’s degree or MBA and certifications such as LEED AP, CEM, or PMP (preferred). • Hands‑on experience with smart building systems, advanced analytics, and energy‑management projects. • Background in sustainability consulting, carbon‑reduction strategies, and global real‑estate services. • Bilingual capability and experience supporting international client requirements (preferred).

The position is based on‑site in Redmond, WA, with an estimated total compensation range of $145,900 to $218,900 annually, subject to qualifications and market factors.
