About the Role

As a key contributor, you will translate customer drawings and specifications into actionable manufacturing solutions, serve as the technical bridge between sales and customers, guide onboard approvals, witness tests, and circuit designs, and shape engineering documentation that drives drafting, procurement, and production. You will also provide hands‑on technical guidance to manufacturing teams, support strategic product marketing initiatives, and empower field sales with negotiation and application insights. • Design and develop electrical systems and components for various applications. • Collaborate with other engineers and departments to integrate electrical systems into larger projects. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems. • Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, bill of materials, and reports. • Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and incorporate them into designs. • Review and analyze product configurations, design circuits, perform engineering calculations, and provide input to drafting, purchasing, and manufacturing personnel. • Provide engineering support for product marketing, manufacturing, and sales initiatives. • Participate in customer project review and drawing approval meetings. • Ensure compliance with environment, health, and safety guidelines.

What You Bring

Basic required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution, familiarity with electrical design software such as AutoCAD or MATLAB, and residence within a 50‑mile radius of the Omaha facility (no relocation is offered). Active‑duty military candidates are exempt from the geographic limitation, and the company will not sponsor immigration visas. Preferred qualifications are a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, three or more years of experience in electrical manufacturing or design, experience with power systems and distribution, and knowledge of industry standards such as IEEE and NEC. Desired skills include strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, as well as excellent communication and teamwork. • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution. • Familiarity with electrical design software such as AutoCAD and MATLAB. • Preferred: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of electrical manufacturing/design experience. • Preferred: Experience with power systems, power distribution, and knowledge of IEEE/NEC standards. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
