About the Role
The manager leads the execution of energy projects, ensuring that all activities adhere to company policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. The role also supports continuous process improvement to increase project execution effectiveness. Key duties include establishing the project execution approach, overseeing hand‑over, planning, monitoring and control for internal and external resources, and managing resource utilization. The manager monitors project financials, invoicing, costs, expenses, and cash flow, while identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing risks and opportunities. The role involves procuring services, materials and equipment, supporting negotiations and handling claims or project changes, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Acting as the primary customer contact and escalation point, the manager prepares master document lists, ensures SAP and ISO documentation compliance, and coordinates engineering approvals, FAT, logistics, installation, testing, commissioning, and payment collection. • Lead execution of energy projects in line with policies, contracts, quality, HSE, and schedules. • Develop and control project plans, budgets, and resource allocation. • Monitor financial performance, invoicing, costs, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle. • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities. • Procure services, materials, and equipment; support negotiations and manage claims. • Serve as primary customer liaison and escalation point for project issues. • Maintain master document lists and ensure SAP and ISO compliance. • Coordinate engineering approvals, FAT, logistics, installation, testing, and commissioning. • Manage change requests, negotiate extensions, and oversee timely payment collection. • Uphold Hitachi Energy’s safety and integrity values in all activities.
