About the Role

Develop, design, validate, and manage the implementation of new best‑in‑class product designs. Translate internal and external customer requirements into measurable performance criteria. Assist in the development of the schedule and budget for new product development projects. Develop technical communications such as datasheets, interface control documents, and test plans. Design, model, and test product prototypes, and maintain and improve existing products through design and competitive analysis. Safety responsibilities include meeting safety and housekeeping objectives, following all safety rules and procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions to line management. Act as project manager on a cross‑functional team for development projects using the PROLaunch product development process. Take necessary measures to improve the quality of product and information in the respective area of responsibility. Communicate new designs and product changes to all plants involved with the product line and monitor standards among all plants. • Develop and validate new product designs while managing implementation • Translate customer requirements into measurable performance criteria • Create technical documentation (datasheets, interface control documents, test plans) • Design, model, and test prototypes; improve existing products via competitive analysis • Ensure safety compliance, housekeeping, and report unsafe conditions • Lead cross‑functional development projects using the PROLaunch process • Communicate design changes across all plants and monitor standards

What You Bring

A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an accredited institution is required. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in product design, including the design and manufacturing of low and medium voltage power distribution products. Experience with product lifecycle management systems, predictive analysis tools such as CFD, FEA, and electromagnetic analysis, and strong understanding of fabrication methods for sheet metal, plastic, copper, and aluminum (UL 50, UL 67, UL 891) is essential. Practical knowledge of 3D CAD tools such as PTC Creo or Inventor is also required. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering • Minimum two years of product design experience in low/medium voltage distribution • Proficient with product lifecycle management, CFD/FEA/electromagnetic analysis • Knowledge of sheet metal, plastic, copper, aluminum fabrication and UL standards • Skilled in 3D CAD tools like PTC Creo or Inventor
