About the Role

We are seeking a Chief of Staff to support the APAC Sales Vice President at Autodesk. The role acts as a trusted advisor, concentrating on strategy, operational efficiency and organizational alignment while embedding Autodesk’s culture. Candidates must have a proven record of challenging the status quo, fostering cross‑business collaboration, developing strategic plans, facilitating meetings and nurturing staff. The Chief of Staff will own the organization’s strategic roadmap, tracking initiatives, verifying execution and updating dashboards. They will create, plan and facilitate staff meetings to drive clear decision‑making and ensure follow‑up actions are reported. In addition, they will craft strategic messaging—both written and spoken—to promote collaboration across teams. Acting as a sounding board and liaison, the individual will manage executive communications for the leader and elevate the VP’s capacity and effectiveness. They will develop high‑quality whitespace opportunities for expansion selling, conduct research, benchmarking and analytics, and propose new systems or processes to streamline operations while managing budgets. The role also drives strategic projects across the APAC region in partnership with corporate functions. • Manage and track the APAC Sales VP’s strategic roadmap and initiative dashboards. • Facilitate staff meetings to ensure clear decisions and follow‑up actions. • Serve as trusted advisor and liaison, handling executive communications for the leader. • Identify whitespace opportunities and coordinate expansion‑selling initiatives. • Research, benchmark and propose new systems/processes to improve efficiency and manage budgets. • Lead strategic projects across APAC in partnership with corporate teams. • Supervise a Sales Excellence team member, providing feedback, coaching and development. • Develop and promote effective sales processes, tools and methodologies across global teams. • Conduct discovery sessions and translate findings into actionable plans. • Build relationships across multiple business units and influence cross‑functional collaboration. • Advise peers on employee engagement, strategy development and operational efficiency. • Manage performance, budgets and travel requirements (15‑30% travel).
