About the Role

The Inspector position is a full‑time role based in Bristol, reporting to Rolls‑Royce’s aerospace business. Inspectors ensure the quality and precision of aerospace engines, working within an integrated team that serves a variety of airline customers. • Conduct detailed inspections of aerospace engine components and modules. • Use precision measurement tools and techniques to verify compliance with aerospace standards. • Collaborate with production, development, and overhaul teams to maintain quality and safety. • Identify and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What You Bring

Applicants must be UK nationals (or MoD‑approved dual nationals) and will need a Security Check clearance, which Rolls‑Royce will help to obtain. The closing date for applications is 26 January 2026, and candidates may be required to complete an online assessment. • Completed a time‑served apprenticeship with relevant aerospace inspection skills. • Hold NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2, or equivalent qualification. • Experience with aerospace strip‑and‑build procedures and conditioning/sentencing parts. • Proficient in using measurement tools and digital inspection software. • Experience with engine intrascopic and CMM inspection. • Knowledge of repair limits and aerospace component sentencing. • Training in risk assessment and COSHH. • Ability to train others and support team development.
