About the Role

The Process Technician ensures machines operate at peak quality and efficiency, drives improvements via continuous improvement processes, and develops, trains, and motivates team members through expertise. In a leadership capacity, the technician provides guidance based on deep process and equipment knowledge, creates and maintains training procedures, and trains new employees, occasionally covering other shifts. Production duties include performing machine changeovers, monitoring machines against control plans, maintaining set‑up records, submitting first‑article inspections, making minor mechanical repairs, assembling equipment and tooling, responding to alarms, and shutting down equipment safely to meet scrap and OEE goals. The role supports continuous improvement by communicating daily production data, leading root‑cause analysis, suggesting equipment and tooling enhancements, and driving corrective actions; it also involves inspecting tooling before and after runs and conducting preventative maintenance such as teardown, cleaning, greasing, and reassembly. Administrative responsibilities cover maintaining documentation on processing and tooling issues, ensuring compliance with company policies, keeping shift logs and QMS records, and promoting a clean, safe work environment through 6S activities and daily area upkeep. • Lead team members, develop and deliver training, and temporarily cover other shifts. • Perform machine changeovers, monitor processes, maintain set‑up records, and submit first‑article inspections. • Make minor mechanical repairs, assemble equipment and tooling, respond to alarms, and ensure safe shutdowns to meet OEE targets. • Drive continuous improvement, conduct root‑cause analysis, and suggest tooling and equipment upgrades. • Inspect tooling before/after runs and perform preventative maintenance such as teardown, cleaning, greasing, and reassembly. • Maintain documentation, follow company policies, keep shift logs and QMS records, and uphold a clean 6S work area. • Process non‑conformances, update records, and support safety meetings.

What You Bring

Candidates must understand company health‑ and safety policies, follow quality system procedures, be proficient in MS Office and SAP, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and work with minimal supervision; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with equivalent experience considered. • Knowledge of health and safety policies, SAP, MS Office, strong organization, communication, and ability to work independently. • Require high school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience considered.

Benefits
