About the Role
The Senior Manager of Application Development leads a hybrid team of over 50 architects, developers, designers, and support specialists across on‑shore (Connecticut and remote U.S.) and offshore partners. This role owns the full lifecycle of enterprise applications—from architecture and design through testing and deployment—ensuring stability, performance, and scalability. It establishes technical standards, drives engineering excellence, and embeds Agile best practices while managing budgets and resources. Key responsibilities include overseeing application ownership, providing technical leadership for .NET, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, and directing project planning and execution. The manager builds and maintains a multi‑year modernization roadmap, aligns technology initiatives with business strategy, and acts as a strategic partner to stakeholders. Additionally, they lead DevOps and release management, enforce governance, SOX compliance, and manage vendor performance. • Oversee full lifecycle of enterprise applications, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability. • Provide technical leadership for .NET, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture and solution design. • Lead planning, execution, and resource allocation for development initiatives within budget and schedule. • Develop and maintain a multi‑year technology modernization roadmap aligned with business value. • Act as strategic business partner, translating stakeholder needs into scalable technology solutions. • Manage issue escalation, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of application reliability. • Direct DevOps, release management, and automation to achieve predictable, high‑quality releases. • Ensure governance, SOX compliance, change control, and security across all applications. • Oversee vendor relationships, contractual commitments, and performance governance.

What You Bring
Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in a related field (or a high school diploma with four years of relevant experience) and at least eight years of professional experience. Preferred experience includes leading hybrid on‑shore/off‑shore teams, ITIL knowledge, and a Certified Software Test Engineer credential. Essential skills cover .NET, Salesforce, Microsoft D365, ERP development, QA management, software design, project lifecycle, analytical abilities, budgeting, and strong communication. • Require a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years of relevant experience. • Preferred: experience leading hybrid on‑shore/off‑shore teams, ITIL certification, Certified Software Test Engineer. • Core skills: .NET, Salesforce, Microsoft D365, ERP development, QA management, software analysis and design. • Physical demands include repetitive motions, coordination, prolonged sitting, and standard office activities.

Benefits
The position offers a base salary range of $136,000 to $206,000 plus eligibility for a performance bonus.
