About the Role
In this role you will oversee contractor resources, monitor compliance with design and construction requirements, issue and track non‑conformance notices, and review work plans, RFIs, submittals, force‑account tickets and change‑order requests. You will proactively anticipate scope changes and schedule slippage, ensure critical milestones are met, make recommendations to airport management, enforce policies—including labor‑relations—and uphold safety and quality standards while preparing progress reports. • Review contractor manpower, materials, and equipment resources. • Monitor contractor compliance with design and construction requirements. • Issue and track non‑conformance notices and resolve related issues. • Evaluate construction work plans, RFIs, submittals, force‑account tickets and change‑order requests. • Anticipate and mitigate scope changes and schedule slippage. • Ensure critical project milestones are achieved for each phase. • Advise airport management on problem resolution. • Enforce labor‑relations policies and overall contractor procedures. • Maintain jobsite safety and quality control practices. • Prepare and deliver construction progress reports.

What You Bring
We are seeking a highly talented Construction Manager with airport experience to join our team and support the Los Angeles World Airports terminal renovations and Capital Improvement Program. The ideal candidate holds a B.S./B.A. in engineering or equivalent experience, brings 20+ years of diversified experience on large civil, structural or aviation projects, and has proven ability to act as an Owner’s Representative. Required knowledge includes construction processes and industry practices, strong managerial capability on complex projects, excellent written and oral communication skills, and professional registration such as P.E. or CCM is preferred. • Hold a B.S./B.A. in engineering or equivalent construction experience. • Possess 20+ years of experience on large civil/structural or aviation projects. • Demonstrate ability to serve as an Owner’s Representative. • Exhibit diversified knowledge of construction processes and industry standards. • Show strong managerial capability on complex projects. • Communicate effectively in written and oral formats, especially in formal presentations. • Professional registration such as P.E. or CCM preferred. • Position located within the Critical Infrastructure team; no security clearance required.
