About the Role

A Relief Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, provides prompt and courteous waste removal services, and ensures the vehicle meets company safety standards before each shift. The driver follows all company, state, and federal regulations, completes daily vehicle condition reports, and addresses any defects promptly. • Perform pre- and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate the heavy truck on the designated route, follow the route sheet, and service customers. • Operate controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste at the designated facility. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable material. • Clean areas around accidental waste spills while adhering to safety standards. • Continuously monitor vehicle condition and clean waste from equipment each trip. • Complete route/productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports (VCRs), and other required documentation. • Maintain productivity standards to service all customers efficiently. • Follow all safety policies and procedures. • Actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP program. • Provide excellent customer service with professionalism, honesty, and courtesy. • Manage time efficiently to complete responsibilities safely. • Follow through on schedules and address challenges as they arise. • Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and avoid inappropriate risks.

What You Bring

• Preferably have two years of commercial truck driving experience. • Hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with air brakes endorsement.
