About the Role
The Facilities Manager role is open to professionals with ambition in the facility management industry. You will be responsible for a wide range of issues, from strategic contracts management to day‑to‑day operational input, and will serve as a key point of contact for client staff on facilities matters. The position forms part of a team that delivers a professional, value‑focused service aimed at exceeding client expectations. The Facilities Manager will lead the JLL management team in delivering facility management services, ensuring maintenance is performed in line with contractual commitments and budget constraints. You will conduct competitive tendering, recommend specialist subcontractors, develop Service Level Agreements, and evaluate vendor resources on site. Ongoing responsibilities include assessing service levels, setting annual savings goals, ensuring statutory compliance, advising on maintenance budgets, and maintaining performance records. You will oversee subcontractor training commitments, analyze call‑out trends to drive strategic initiatives, and facilitate cross‑feedback between subcontractors and client staff to improve service quality. The role also involves training team members on quality policies, auditing subcontractors, reviewing staff performance, coordinating with HR and finance, preparing preventive maintenance registers, and generating MIS reports for management. The manager will act as a liaison with the client’s finance team, raise billing and follow up on payments, prepare and submit monthly reports, monitor key performance measurements, and enforce policies and compliance deadlines set by the Operations Manager. Effective team management and continuous improvement of employee morale and client satisfaction are essential. • Lead the facility management team to deliver maintenance services within contract terms and budget. • Conduct competitive tendering, evaluate specialist subcontractors, and recommend the best vendors. • Develop and manage Service Level Agreements with vendors and monitor their performance. • Set annual goals for energy and cost savings and ensure statutory compliance. • Advise clients on maintenance budgets and maintain comprehensive performance records. • Analyze service call‑out trends and implement strategic initiatives to reduce incidents. • Facilitate cross‑feedback between subcontractors and client staff to improve service quality. • Train team members on quality policies, audit subcontractor work, and conduct performance appraisals. • Coordinate with HR and finance for training, billing, and payment processes. • Prepare preventive maintenance registers, generate MIS reports, and chair monthly progress meetings.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a graduate degree in any discipline, with 8–10 years of facilities management experience; tertiary qualifications in building management or business are desirable. Proven ability to work collaboratively, initiate improvement initiatives, build relationships, and think out‑of‑the‑box is required.
