What You Bring
RQ Construction is currently seeking several skilled Mechanical and Piping Insulators to join its Mechanical team for ongoing work at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. All work will be performed on the military base and will be paid at the Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage rate applicable to the base. Applications are being accepted into a candidate pool at this time. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED, supplemented by a Union, private, military, or trade‑school apprenticeship that includes both theory and on‑the‑job training. Four or more years of journey‑level mechanical piping insulation experience in commercial or facilities operations—preferably in government, military, or large commercial construction—is required.
