About the Role
Ventia, in collaboration with the Australian Defence Force, is seeking multiple Dining Room Attendants to deliver high‑quality service while maintaining strict food‑safety standards. The position involves cleaning and sanitising equipment, furniture and premises, washing crockery and glassware, reporting maintenance needs, supporting the Food Safety Program, assisting with food preparation and ensuring a friendly, professional experience for all customers. • Clean and sanitise equipment, furniture, and premises; wash crockery and glassware; report maintenance needs. • Support implementation of Ventia’s Food Safety Program and assist with food preparation. • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen and dining areas while providing a friendly, professional service.

What You Bring
• Minimum 1 year hospitality and catering experience. • Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (required). • Experience in high‑volume food and beverage service (advantageous). • Knowledge of food safety standards, relevant legislation and statutory obligations. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Current Australian driver’s licence (advantageous). • Eligible for Defence Security Clearance – must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police check.

Benefits
The role is casual and paid at $32.80 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus superannuation, penalty rates, and allowances for after‑hours, weekends and public holidays.
