About the Role
The Painter is responsible for painting facilities and equipment according to prescribed standards and codes. Key duties include ensuring all areas are cleaned and primed before painting, selecting the correct paint codes for different applications, keeping brushes and tools clean, and checking paint inventory and work orders. • Clean and prime all areas before painting. • Select and apply correct paint codes for various applications. • Maintain cleanliness of brushes and tools. • Monitor paint inventory and manage work orders. • Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals. • Write routine reports and correspondence. • Communicate effectively with groups of customers or employees. • Operate forklifts and man‑lifts safely. • Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, climbing, kneeling, and working in varied weather conditions.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and up to three months of related experience. They should be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. A valid driver’s license is required to obtain a Customer Mobile Equipment License, and the ability to operate forklifts and man‑lifts is essential. The role involves regular use of hands to handle and feel materials, frequent sitting, climbing, and balancing, and occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Physical demands include regularly lifting up to 10 lb, frequently lifting up to 25 lb, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lb, with specific vision requirements such as close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception. • Hold a high school diploma or GED; up to three months related experience acceptable. • Possess a valid driver’s license and obtain a Customer Mobile Equipment License.

Compensation is competitive, ranging from $15.30 to $18.00 per hour, and will not be less than the minimum wage.
