About the Role

Responsibilities include overseeing daily electrical tasks such as layout, rough‑in, and trim‑out, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code, local regulations, and project blueprints, and enforcing OSHA and IES safety protocols on‑site. The Leadman also diagnoses and resolves electrical issues, maintains accurate documentation of timekeeping, work orders, and material usage, and ensures the quality of installations meets IES standards for timely inspection. • Lead crew through layout, rough‑in, and trim‑out phases of new residential construction. • Ensure all work meets NEC, local codes, and IES Residential standards. • Enforce OSHA and IES safety protocols on‑site. • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to avoid delays. • Mentor apprentices and junior electricians with on‑the‑job training. • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and builders on progress and changes. • Maintain accurate timekeeping, work orders, material logs, and daily production reports.

What You Bring

The Electrical Leadman is a working foreman who leads a crew of electricians and apprentices in installing electrical systems for new single‑family homes. This hourly, non‑exempt position includes overtime eligibility and requires adherence to IES Residential standards, project specifications, and applicable codes. Candidates must have at least four years of residential electrical installation experience, including one year in a crew‑lead role, and possess a current Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license. Physical requirements involve lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, crouching, and climbing ladders for extended periods, as well as working outdoors in Texas weather conditions. • Minimum 4 years residential electrical installation, including 1 year crew‑lead experience. • Hold a current Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license. • Ability to lift 50 lb, stand, climb ladders, and work in Texas outdoor conditions.
