About the Role

The Operations Manager – Hauling leads collections activities for commercial, industrial and residential customers across a geographically dispersed area, overseeing container delivery and pickup. This role manages a team of Operations Supervisors, Dispatchers, Operations Clerks, Drivers and Helpers, and collaborates with the General Manager and other unit managers to execute local market strategies that align with the area’s overall operating and marketing plans. Key duties include hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of staff, implementing tactical initiatives to enhance customer experience and profitability, and optimizing route productivity while controlling labor hours and disposal expenses. Compensation includes a salary range of $90,800 to $124,850, contingent on locality, with a 20% annual incentive target.
