About the Role

The specialist is responsible for delivering computer‑based, unit, and quality training that supports production tasks and ensures a quality product. This includes training team members on machine and tool safety, documentation, basic troubleshooting, and first‑article inspections, as well as tracking and reporting all QTL/Production Lead training completion. Key duties involve auditing assembly processes and finished products for compliance with quality procedures, enforcing proper PPE use, and coaching QTLs and Production Leaders in problem‑solving, Lean, 6S, and continuous‑improvement methods. The role also participates in recruiting potential leadership candidates and collaborates with other departments to improve production processes and quality metrics. • Deliver training on machine safety, documentation, tool use, and basic troubleshooting. • Track and report completion of QTL and Production Lead training programs. • Audit assembly processes and finished products to ensure compliance with quality procedures. • Enforce proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage across the production floor. • Coach QTLs and Production Leaders in problem solving, Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement methods. • Recruit and develop potential candidates for QTL and Production Lead positions. • Collaborate with other departments to create and improve production processes and quality metrics. • Maintain AAON's quality standards, on‑time production, and design specification adherence.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed all required Certified QTL classes. Proficiency with MS Office and a working knowledge of manufacturing practices are preferred, along with strong verbal and written communication, critical‑thinking, and attention‑to‑detail skills. The position requires the ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods in an industrial setting, lift up to 50 lb, and operate safely around humidity, noise, dust, temperature extremes, sheet metal, and forklift traffic. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and complete required Certified QTL classes; proficient with MS Office. • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
