About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor at The Flats on San Felipe is responsible for delivering high-quality move-in experiences, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention to residents. They act as the primary point of contact for resident service requests and help Cushman & Wakefield provide superior customer service. Core duties include preparing market-ready apartments (painting, carpet cleaning, repairs, housekeeping), completing resident service requests promptly, and maintaining a broad range of systems such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, pool/hot-tub, and life-safety equipment. The supervisor also keeps common areas, grounds, dog parks, and pools clean, performs on-call emergency procedures, reports budget-impacting maintenance issues, and schedules preventive maintenance while documenting activities. • Prepare market-ready apartments (painting, carpet cleaning, repairs, housekeeping). • Respond to resident service requests promptly. • Maintain plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, pool/hot-tub, and life-safety systems. • Keep grounds, common areas, dog parks, and pools clean and safe. • Perform on-call emergency procedures as needed. • Report maintenance issues that affect budget, vacancies, or property damage. • Schedule and record preventative maintenance activities. • Ensure compliance with housing laws, codes, and company policies. • Attend required training programs and certifications. • Provide superior customer service and represent the company professionally. • Work any shift Sunday‑Saturday to meet business needs. • Safely use cleaning agents and equipment. • Perform basic math calculations and interpret measurements. • Lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 100 lb regularly.
