About the Role
A Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill. Responsibilities may include yard clean‑up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, office maintenance, and other related tasks. The role involves performing assigned duties to keep the site operating safely and efficiently, including cleaning work areas, fueling equipment, operating site vehicles, maintaining the office, directing traffic, and other job‑related responsibilities. • Clean up work areas • Clean track on track‑type equipment • Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick‑up • Operate site vehicles and equipment such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment • Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work • Install temporary wind fences as required • Direct traffic at the site as necessary
