About the Role

The Manager of Operations will supervise an operations support staff to maintain high performance in plant operations. This role manages programs, department procedures, and various functional groups such as work execution supervisors, clearance and tagging, the Fix‑It‑Now (FIN) team, and the outage Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) planner. Regular interaction with site counterparts and industry peers drives continuous improvement. Key duties include ensuring scheduled work complies with Technical Specifications and regulations, directing planning support personnel for operations scheduling and clearance/tagging for online maintenance and planned outages, and establishing work priorities for daily, outage, and emergent tasks. The manager also oversees the FIN group, periodically assesses plant operations effectiveness, supports the outage SRO planner, and may be called upon for emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities outside the department. • Supervise work execution supervisors, clearance/tagging team, FIN group, and outage SRO planner. • Ensure all scheduled work meets Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements. • Direct planning support for operations scheduling and clearance/tagging for maintenance and outages. • Prioritize daily, outage, and emergent work via the work control process. • Oversee FIN group to align priorities with operational needs and assess plant operations effectiveness. • Provide outage SRO planning support and respond to emergencies, coverage, and call‑outs.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree with six years of related experience, a current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with six years of experience, an Associate’s degree with eight years of experience, or a high school diploma/GED with ten years of experience, along with supervisory or managerial experience and required access and medical clearances. Preferred qualifications include a current Senior Reactor Operator license, working knowledge of procedure writing, and familiarity with the CAPCO process. • Minimum qualifications: relevant degree or High School diploma with required years of experience, supervisory experience, and required access/medical clearances. • Preferred: Current Senior Reactor Operator license; knowledge of procedure writing and CAPCO process.
