About the Role
• Apply commercial awareness and delivery expertise to drive project success and make balanced decisions. • Lead and develop high‑performing teams, set expectations and promote collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors and clients. • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships ensuring effective communication aligned with company values. • Prepare and review performance reports for monthly financial and programme reviews. • Ensure compliance with company financial, commercial and Health & Safety procedures. • Manage contract documentation, price variations and final account agreements. • Coordinate with design and manufacturing teams to optimise resources and meet client requirements. • Conduct site visits and meetings to provide oversight, resolve issues and maintain programme progress. • Identify and mitigate risks early to minimise delays and cost impacts. • Promote innovation, continuous improvement and best practice to drive efficiency. • Champion sustainability and ensure environmental objectives are met. • Encourage use of digital tools and data‑driven approaches to improve outcomes.

What You Bring
• Own project financial performance, including P&L management, forecasting, cost control and accurate reporting. • ONC/HNC/BEng or NVQ equivalent in engineering or a related discipline. • Proven experience managing contracts in the water/wastewater sector. • Strong understanding of NEC contracts. • Demonstrated leadership and team‑development abilities. • Ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Commercial awareness with strong problem‑solving skills. • Flexible, resilient and adaptable in a changing environment. • Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH, SMSTS). • CSCS card holder.
