About the Role

Job Overview: Operates a variety of production machines such as saws, presses, drills, and other hand or powered equipment, including automatic presses that may require raw material to be loaded onto stock reels. • Activate the machine by pushing a button, interrupting electrical eyes, or depressing the pedal. • Verify safety equipment is functional before starting work. • Follow operation sheets, printed work instructions, or verbal directions. • Observe machine operation to detect work‑piece defects or malfunctions. • Assemble and sort work pieces. • Perform minor machine adjustments and maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces. • Handle and lift material, including tote pans. • Report job activities on daily labor tickets and count slips. • Ensure product quality from performed operations. • Maintain a clean assigned area at all times.
