About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer IV, you will create basic designs under the direction of senior engineers and develop specifications, system narratives, and layouts for projects of varying sizes. • Establish system application, design, and operational parameters under senior direction • Oversee QA/QC processes for own work and that of others • Assist in determining project schedules, manpower needs, and budgets • Perform construction administration and field investigations, including inspections and detailed reports • Process RFIs, change orders, bulletins, and addenda

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer IV to join our growing design team in Washington, DC, where you will represent the firm and collaborate closely with internal design teams, external clients, and consultants. Individuals in this position must demonstrate the ability to progress from basic design assignments to more complex projects while working with a technical team. Successful candidates should be proficient with REVIT for system layout and spatial coordination, have a basic understanding of LEED principles, hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and possess at least seven years of consulting experience. Current PE registration is preferred, with FE/EIT required, and LEED AP certification is highly desirable. Experience with Federal, Healthcare, Commercial, and Mission Critical projects, as well as AutoCAD MEP and design calculation software, is also expected. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution • Bring 7+ years of consulting experience • Maintain FE/EIT certification; PE registration preferred • Possess LEED AP credential (highly preferred) • Experience with Federal, Healthcare, Commercial, and Mission Critical projects • Use REVIT and the latest AutoCAD MEP for design work • Proficient in design and calculation software
