About the Role

Technicians will carry out corrective and preventative maintenance, servicing and repair of Hitachi rolling‑stock assets within the Train Maintenance Centre (TMC). Duties include scheduled maintenance, fault rectification, supporting new‑train deliveries, and recording work and stock consumption in the maintenance management system, while adhering to health and safety procedures. • Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of Hitachi rolling stock in the TMC. • Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance on rolling stock at depots, stations, and outstations. • Participate in continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures. • Support new train deliveries and maintenance acceptance activities. • Record work activities and stock usage using the maintenance management system. • Work rotating day and night shifts, including travel and overnight stays as needed. • Apply modern fault‑finding techniques using PC‑based diagnostics and remote tools. • Investigate and repair complex electrical and mechanical faults, producing detailed reports.
