About the Role

The Cleaner performs a variety of custodial tasks to keep the facility clean and orderly, including floor care, surface cleaning, waste management, and snow removal. Duties are carried out according to company guidelines and any additional assignments from supervisors. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors and other surfaces. • Operate commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum and spot‑clean rugs in offices and public areas. • Spot‑clean interior walls and wash glass as needed. • Clean and restock bathrooms, including fixtures, tiles, dispensers, and waste removal. • Monitor and report plumbing or lighting defects. • Collect and dispose of building trash, replacing liners as specified. • Sweep or shovel snow from building entrances and walkways. • Perform periodic high dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing. • Follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and collaborate within a team. • Use portable backpack vacuum and other cleaning equipment. • Maintain attention to detail, organization, and high energy/endurance.

What You Bring

The GMP Cleaner works Wednesday through Sunday, from 5 am to 1:30 pm, under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor at C&W Services. The role follows established C&W standards, instructions, and procedures. No prior cleaning experience is required; the candidate must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate as part of a team. The role requires use of cleaning tools and equipment, attention to detail, organization, and high energy and endurance. • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, and light fixtures, including periodic high dusting. • Clean interior glass, windowsills, and entrance‑door glass and trim.
