About the Role

The Field Chemist facilitates the Lab Pack Program, Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), and other field activities by delivering on‑site services such as characterizing, packaging, handling, and transporting wastes. The incumbent must maintain safety, meticulous attention to detail, profitability, and efficiency while complying with all relevant regulations. • Provide lab packing services at customer sites in compliance with regulations and company procedures. • Sample and characterize hazardous and non‑hazardous waste and generate waste profiles for end‑user facilities. • Prepare price quotes and detailed waste inventories for customers. • Transport waste from customer sites to end‑user or transfer facilities, including off‑loading, de‑packing and consolidating waste. • Generate internal paperwork for accurate service and invoicing. • Provide technical support and perform other related duties as assigned. • Apply chemistry principles to analyze and evaluate waste processing protocols. • Perform proper analysis and present findings concisely. • Address difficult situations constructively and negotiate problem‑solving solutions. • Utilize computer technology for communication, data gathering and reporting. • Build rapport with associates and managers, maintain high accuracy and detect data inconsistencies.

What You Bring

Candidates should possess a solid understanding of chemistry principles, be able to analyze waste processing protocols, and present findings concisely.
