What You Bring
Core sourcing knowledge includes interpreting engineering drawings, conducting RFQs, performing zero‑based and open‑book costing for sheet metal, motors, copper fabrication, welding and brazing assemblies, and identifying cost‑improvement opportunities. The candidate must have hands‑on experience with spend data, VAVE, raw‑material substitution, and the ability to read drawings and apply global regional costing parameters. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years of strategic sourcing or part‑costing experience are required. Proficiency in Creo, Windchill, Apriori or similar tools, and advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are mandatory, along with strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder‑management abilities. • Hold a Mechanical Engineering degree and 7+ years of strategic sourcing or part‑costing experience. • Proficient in Creo, Windchill, Apriori (or similar), and advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. • Demonstrate strong communication, stakeholder‑management and collaborative skills in a global environment.
