About the Role
In this role you will oversee field research, data collection, analysis, and report production; train and mentor staff on research protocols and technical reporting; drive process improvements to increase efficiency; and collaborate with local, regional, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals. What You Bring
Successful candidates will hold a master’s degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field, be eligible for state and federal permits, and have up to seven years of fieldwork experience with supervisory responsibilities. A thorough understanding of NEPA and Section 106 regulations, the ability to edit technical reports, manage project schedules and budgets, travel up to 30 % of the time, and a valid driver’s license are required. Preferred attributes include client‑management experience, interdisciplinary collaboration, CPR/First Aid certification, strong communication skills, and a proven record of timely technical report delivery. • Hold a master’s degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field. • Possess up to seven years of archaeology fieldwork and supervisory experience. • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of NEPA and Section 106 regulations. • Meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards. • Travel up to 30 % of the time and maintain a valid driver’s license. • Exhibit strong verbal, written, and technical writing skills. • Experience in client management and proposal development preferred. • Hold CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to obtain training.
