About the Role
As a Skilled Laborer/Groundman you will support all phases of utility construction on telecom projects, performing manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading materials, and preparing job sites with hand tools. You will work outdoors, transport heavy equipment daily, build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems, troubleshoot field problems, and continuously learn to use new tools and equipment. • Perform manual utility tasks such as trench digging, material unloading, and site preparation with hand tools. • Transport and operate heavy equipment on job sites each day. • Build and maintain both aerial and underground telecom cable systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve field problems as they arise. • Learn and operate various telecom construction tools and equipment. • Maintain rigorous safety standards and high‑quality workmanship. • Contribute to local community projects while staying home daily.
