About the Role

In this role you will oversee site operations, ensure compliance with MasTec safety policies and industry standards, manage paperwork and closeout documentation, and maintain strong communication with customers. You will also provide leadership, mentorship, and training to crew members, while keeping equipment and vehicles in optimal condition. • Implement MasTec Health Safety and Environmental Policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, ANSI). • Ensure site safety requirements are met for the crew. • Oversee daily operations and quality of work at assigned sites. • Maintain required daily paperwork and validate timesheets. • Execute job instructions from leadership and compile site closeout documentation. • Upload documentation to customer interfaces and coordinate with customer representatives. • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to crew members. • Mentor less experienced technicians and promote continuous learning. • Maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of industry experience, and a solid background in construction, rigging, and safety. You must be physically fit, possess a valid driver’s license, be capable of reading technical drawings, and hold relevant certifications such as First Aid, CPR, or a WSA, with additional certifications considered a plus. • Demonstrate high safety awareness and a record of quality work. • Solve complex problems with a hands‑on approach and enjoy long‑term projects. • Hold a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of industry experience. • Expertise in construction, rigging, safety, and knowledge of safety regulations; WSA certification a plus. • Possess relevant certifications (First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, Connector attachment). • Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills; ability to read site plans, RFDS, drawings, and SOW. • Valid driver’s license meeting company policy and ability to maintain FDOT log books. • Capable of leading, teaching, and training proper work and safety procedures. • Physically fit to climb towers, lift 50 lb, and work up to 12 hours per day.
