About the Role
The Instrumentation & Controls EIT/Coordinator role involves engineering tasks such as reviewing manufacturer drawings, performing calculations, and developing design layouts for power distribution, motor control, lighting, and grounding. The incumbent will ensure code compliance, conduct quality checks, meet project schedules and budgets, coordinate across disciplines, supervise designers or CAD operators when needed, and participate in field reviews and construction observations, with occasional travel to project sites. • Perform engineering calculations and review manufacturer drawings. • Create and verify design layouts for power distribution, motor control, lighting, and grounding, ensuring code compliance. • Conduct quality checks, meet project schedules and budgets, and coordinate with other disciplines. • Supervise designers and CAD operators on larger projects as needed. • Participate in field reviews and construction observations. • Travel to project sites as required.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field. • EIT certification (or willingness to obtain it) and at least 3.0 GPA. • Proficiency with Allen‑Bradley, Modicon, Wonderware and/or Interlution. • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and within project teams. • Experience with architectural/engineering consulting firms. • Interest or experience in sustainable design/LEED.
