About the Role
The CFO will lead financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for both corporate and project entities, manage treasury, liquidity, and capital allocation, and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and renewable‑energy incentives. This role also oversees debt and equity fundraising, structures complex financing agreements, establishes risk‑management frameworks, and directs audit and internal‑control processes. Building and mentoring a high‑performing finance team while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement is a key responsibility. • Partner with President and executive team to develop and execute financial strategy and sustainability goals. • Lead financial modeling, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for corporate and project entities. • Manage treasury, liquidity, capital allocation, and ensure optimal cash flow. • Implement and maintain financial systems, controls, and processes for a scaling organization. • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and renewable‑energy incentives (ITC, PTC). • Lead debt and equity fundraising, including tax‑equity and project‑finance transactions. • Structure and negotiate complex financing agreements and corporate credit facilities. • Establish risk‑management frameworks addressing market, operational, and financial risks. • Oversee audit, internal controls, and timely financial disclosures. • Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing finance team, fostering collaboration and development. • Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred) and possess 10–15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least five years in a senior executive role. A proven record in renewable‑energy or infrastructure finance, capital raising, and project‑finance transactions is required, along with strong negotiation, stakeholder‑management, and communication skills. High integrity, a commitment to sustainability, and the ability to think strategically across financial and operational dimensions are essential. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. • 10‑15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior executive role. • Proven track record in renewable‑energy, power generation, or infrastructure finance. • Demonstrated success raising capital and executing project‑finance transactions. • Experience managing corporate and project‑level entities in growth‑stage or investor‑backed environments. • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. • Expertise in renewable‑energy financing structures such as tax equity and PPA models. • Excellent communication and presentation abilities for board and investor audiences. • High integrity and commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility.
