About the Role
The Branch Manager leads the administrative team that supports HVAC and refrigeration technicians in the field, working closely with the Service Manager, Dispatch, Purchasing and other managers to ensure customer satisfaction and meet departmental goals. Acting as a senior company representative, the manager communicates directly with customers, vendors and suppliers, and holds P&L ownership for the branch. Key duties include directing dispatch and assistant branch manager functions, achieving annual procurement targets, maintaining vendor and customer communication, growing branch revenue and profitability, developing and monitoring budgets and goals, reviewing work orders and quotes, reporting daily project status to dispatch, managing operational KPIs, supporting hiring and scheduling of technicians, conducting performance appraisals, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. • Lead administrative team supporting HVAC/refrigeration technicians. • Collaborate with Service Manager, Dispatch, Purchasing and other managers. • Represent company in direct communications with customers, vendors and suppliers. • Own branch P&L and drive revenue and profitability growth. • Direct dispatch and Assistant Branch Manager (or Service Techs) operations. • Achieve annual procurement plan and targeted vendor discount rates. • Maintain prompt, professional communication with vendors and customers. • Develop and monitor budgets, goals, and operational KPIs. • Review work orders for accuracy and approve customer quotes quickly. • Provide daily project updates to Dispatch, including labor hours and parts usage. • Support Service Manager in hiring, screening and scheduling technicians. • Conduct staff performance appraisals and set improvement goals. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and training.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED (college degree a plus), three or more years of leadership experience and preferably two years in technical industrial service management. Strong business acumen, proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/dispatch software, problem‑solving and conflict‑management skills, detail‑orientation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work non‑standard schedules are required. The role operates in a clean, well‑lit, climate‑controlled office with standard office equipment and occasional customer site visits. Employees regularly stand, sit, walk, talk, drive and use their hands, and must be able to lift up to 10 lb frequently and up to 25 lb occasionally, as well as meet vision requirements for close and distance work.
