About the Role
The Porter supports the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager by performing corrective, preventative, routine and cosmetic maintenance, as well as the make‑ready process, ensuring the property remains safe, clean and operational. • Perform daily cleaning, trash removal, and routine maintenance of common areas, grounds, buildings, and breezeways. • Respond promptly to resident and management work orders for community areas and units. • Conduct daily inspections to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Support preventative maintenance program to extend property life and reduce repairs. • Maintain organized, stocked maintenance shop while following safety and OSHA guidelines. • Assist Supervisor with hazard communications and promote safe work practices. • Participate in unit inspections and on‑call emergency response as needed. • Deliver excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Ensure proper use of property resources, equipment, and supplies economically. • Meet physical demands: lift/move 100+ lb objects, climb ladders, work in various weather conditions and confined spaces. • Work overtime, weekends, night hours for on‑call emergencies.

What You Bring
