About the Role
• Promote exceptional safety and uphold quality standards at all times • Coordinate and control construction activities to keep the project on schedule and budget • Manage day‑to‑day site operations, supervise staff, conduct briefings, prepare RAMS and ensure compliance • Order and supply plant and materials as required • Verify drawings and quantities for accuracy before work commences • Maintain strong client relationships at all levels • Comply with the Customer Impact Plan throughout the project • Enhance and protect ESD’s reputation • Implement the BMS at all project stages • Plan, organise and monitor activities to meet safety, time and quality requirements • Report and resolve all site non‑conformities • Proactively manage cost aspects and maintain controls • Ensure appropriate confidentiality is maintained

What You Bring
Galliford Try Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer for its Environmental business in Lockerbie, working on the ESD Joint Venture water framework. The role will initially focus on the Black Esk WTW project and other high‑value Scottish water schemes across the Scottish Borders. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to major infrastructure delivery in the region. • HND or equivalent engineering/project management qualification • Experience in construction/engineering, preferably water industry • Proven track record of delivering within agreed parameters • IOSH or SMSTS safety management certification • CSCS Card • Excellent IT skills • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
