About the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to supervise, assign, and coordinate Maintenance Division activities, ensuring a productive workforce that meets divisional, Clean Energy Center (CEC), and corporate goals while complying with company policies and all regulatory requirements. The position works closely with department schedulers and planners, advises on training and procedural changes, and serves as a member of the Emergency Plan team. • Supervise craft personnel to perform maintenance safely according to CEC procedures, NRC regulations, and the established schedule. • Coach, mentor, and manage performance of assigned employees, including initiating disciplinary actions when necessary. • Communicate significant CEC and personnel issues to the Maintenance Manager and senior leadership, fostering collaboration with internal teams and external agencies such as INPO and regulators. • Disseminate company programs, announcements, and policies to staff while gathering and relaying employee feedback. • Participate in work‑control, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online operations, load reductions, forced outages, and refuel outages to ensure work is properly planned and ready. • Oversee maintenance processes including training, surveillance, procedure revisions, and corrective‑action programs, identifying opportunities for improvement. • Supervise vendor inspections and repairs, ensuring effective procurement and use of materials, parts, tools, and equipment. • Contribute to Maintenance Department management by supporting corporate, CEC, and divisional goals and monitoring performance metrics. • Execute additional assignments such as emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and outage support outside the department. • Maintain required access clearances and pass a favorable medical examination as per position duties.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with six years of related experience, an associate’s degree with four years, or a bachelor’s degree with two years in a technical discipline, along with required access clearances and a satisfactory medical examination. Preferred qualifications feature the ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs, proficiency with electronic work‑management systems and Microsoft Office, and at least three years of nuclear power plant operations experience. • Hold a high school diploma/GED with six years experience, or an associate’s degree with four years, or a bachelor’s degree with two years in a technical field. • Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs; proficient in electronic work‑management systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel. • Possess a minimum of three years experience in nuclear power plant operations.
