About the Role

• Perform pre‑site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications of equipment. • Solve problems with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, and District Service teams. • Complete field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance logs, and startup data sheets. • Collaborate with managers or regional service directors to resolve complex escalated issues. • Engage in continuous learning and training on various products both in the field and classroom. • Travel regionally or nationwide for customer support, including overnight assignments. • Assist senior technicians and support project management on large system start‑ups. • Work with larger teams of FSRs and project managers on high‑complexity projects. • Act on behalf of the District Service Manager to resolve operational issues as needed. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. • Follow good safety practices, lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, and complete required safety trainings. • Maintain safe driving and vehicle operation skills. • Utilize test and diagnostic equipment effectively. • Write clear service reports, correspondence, and procedures, and present information to customers. • Perform physically demanding tasks, lift up to 40 lb, work in extreme environmental conditions, stand for extended periods, and operate in confined spaces.

What You Bring

• Hold an Associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, military training, or similar electrical‑related experience. • Understand AC and DC power principles and related circuit components. • Possess at least 2 + years of field service repair and customer service experience with UPS systems, power distribution, ATS, PDU, or related equipment. • Have at least 2 + years of field services or equivalent industry experience. • Communicate proficiently in English with customers and team members. • Demonstrate basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and company digital tools. • Identify hazards, report safety incidents, and possess preferred NFPA‑70E or OSHA experience.
