About the Role
The Compliance Administrator supports SOLV Energy’s NERC CIP and 693 compliance efforts, handling reporting and onboarding tasks. This full‑time role is based in the San Diego office, requiring on‑site presence Monday through Thursday with remote work on Fridays. Specific location expectations will be discussed during the interview process. Key duties include maintaining a working understanding of applicable NERC standards, assisting in the development and implementation of new or enhanced standards, and supporting regulatory procedures for CIP, 693, and local requirements. The role also involves collaborating with business units on policy and compliance issues, championing diversity and inclusion, onboarding facilities, tracking onboarding tasks, communicating regularly with clients, and providing day‑to‑day support to the Compliance Manager. • Maintain working knowledge of applicable NERC standards. • Assist in developing and implementing new or enhanced NERC standards. • Support creation and execution of regulatory procedures for CIP, 693, and local requirements. • Collaborate with business units on policy, compliance, and regulatory matters. • Promote diversity and inclusion within SOLV Energy culture. • Onboard facilities and gather documentation for NERC registration. • Track onboarding tasks and ensure timely completion. • Communicate regularly with clients as needed. • Provide day‑to‑day support to the Compliance Manager. • Handle confidential information with high integrity.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a college degree (preferred) and demonstrates strong Microsoft Office skills. Experience developing administrative CIP and 693 policies, basic knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards, and the ability to comprehend and communicate those standards are required. Effective internal and external communication, handling confidential information with high integrity, tactful negotiation, proficiency in office practices, and willingness to travel up to 5% of the time are also essential. • College degree preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and related tools. • Experience drafting administrative CIP and 693 policies. • Basic knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards. • Ability to understand and explain NERC standards. • Strong internal and external communication skills. • Use tact and judgment when negotiating with all levels. • Familiar with office practices, procedures, and equipment. • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
